Brief Description

WAY Ministry is a registered TR/INC 506 charitable organization of Malawi. We are a Malawian Ministry (Est. 2011) and Non-Profit Business (Est 2010), registered in Malawi with the government, NGO Board, CONGOMA, Blantyre City Council, Department of Education, Ministry of Gender, Children Disability and Social Welfare and Early Childhood Development.

WAY Ministries is Malawian organization established in 2011. The organization was established to provide a structure, authority, accountability and a future base for growth and development for the work: operating a Christian Montessori Nursery and Primary School, investing in the local Community Based Childcare Centre’s and Montessori teacher training.

The Board of Trustees oversees the operation of the organization. The Executive Director oversees the work of the ministry and reports directly to the Board. The Executive Director oversees the work of the Management Team, who run the various departments.

The organization registered with the Non–governmental organizations regulatory authority (NGORA), Council for Non-governmental organization in Malawi (CONGOMA). The schools operating under the organization are registered with the Ministry of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare, Ministry of Education, Blantyre City Council, Association of Early Childhood Development and other partners.

Vision

The mission of the Ministry is to reach the children for the glory of God by honouring, understanding, and educating them to their God-given potential and by investing in, empowering and equipping those who care for them.

The vision of the Ministry is a nation of children that love and fear God and young people who are equipped and empowered to provide for themselves and contribute to the development of the nation of Malawi. We are looking forward to a nation full of teachers, parents and leaders who love, honour and understand children and are passionately committed to advocating, protecting and educating children with wisdom and care.
